Prayer is the means that the righteous begin to transmit signals into the spirit realm, similar to a control centre that gives clearance to an aeroplane that they have a designated spot to land.

Prayer facilitates a landing spot for the Kingdom of heaven, and it's functionaries to invade our territory. In other words "earthly permission for heavenly interference"

Prayer is offered unto God with odours. This is why the place where prayer took place in the sanctuary, is called the altar of incense. One such odour that adds a pleasing fragrance to prayer is called thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.
